Fat cows united

ok... so today I weighed in (post poop and pee) and found myself staring at the astonishing number of 273.5lbs. There IS no ignoring that number.

Unfortunately, I made the decision to join WW online on a day where I have barely eaten anything due to a dentist appointment this afternoon.

Now my chompers are fixed, and walking out of the dentist office, staring at the McDonald's that shares the parking lot, I almost pulled into the drive-thru.. until I remembered that that is death for me and my plans.

I'm now home and sitting here figuring out points values for food I have in the house which I can cook for dinner.

I have also downloaded the WW beta app from the Market so I can track stuff on the go. Awesomely, it appears to track back to the main WW online site, so everything is there.

BTW, I'm HUNGRY. Thought about eating a PB&J, but realized that it is too close to dinner, even though I definitely have the points to use. Maybe i'll just eat a banana.

What I left behind

The Avo, Bacon, & Cheese omelette from Ihop was 28 points for the entire thing. So I had 2/3 for 15 points and live to fight another day...


Weigh-in and Day One

OK, so I weighed in at 219.2. Ouchie, but not as bad as I would have thought after a week in Vegas with all the eating and drinking that entails.

My plan so far is not to drastically change my eating until I hit the 33 point ceiling. I just want to see where my regular diet falls in points values before making changes. Of course, I understand that by simply consciously observing the diet, it will change--we influence that we observe simply by observing.

I set the blog up to enable mobile posting, and also to inform both of us when a post comes in on the blog. I'm thinking pictures, recipes, mobile pleas for help, etc. lol
